Experience a canoe or kayak trip through the Horicon Marsh, exploring this wetland of international importance. The still waters of the marsh offer relaxing paddling and the flora and fauna are unmatched. For birdwatchers, a canoe or kayak trip on the marsh brings opportunities to catch a glimpse of some of the marsh’s most elusive birds.
Canoe Rental Rates
2 person canoe: $25/day
3 person canoe: $35/day
Rental includes aluminum Grumman canoe, paddles & PFDs.
Kayak Rental Rates
Single Kayak: $26 /day
Tandem Kayak: $52/day
Rental includes Old Town Kayak, paddles, & PFD’s

Q. Do you have a map for paddlers?
A. Yes, you can download the Wisconsin DNR’s Horicon Marsh Canoe map here. If you have questions about the route, please call (920) 387-7893.
Q. Do you offer off-site rentals?
A. No, all canoes and kayaks must remain north of Horicon in the State Wildlife area of the Horicon Marsh.
Q. Do you offer shuttle service?
A. We offer shuttle service by appointment only from May 1-September 27 for $25.00 per canoe or kayak. 24 hour notice is required. 5/3/2019 No Shuttles to Greenhead Landing at this time, downed trees and cattail bog plugging access to main ditch.
Q. Can I bring my own canoe or kayak?
A. Yes, we offer private launches for $5 per watercraft.
Q. Can I bring my pet?
A. We have a no-pet policy with all rentals.
Q. Are there weight restrictions for canoe & kayak rentals?
A. Yes – canoe 450 lbs. – single kayak 225 lbs. – tandem kayak 450 lbs.
